About- Possibly the best-known ground cherry available to the home gardener! This Polish developed heirloom has a uniquely sweet flavor, making it great to use in pies and jellies.
When and Where to Plant– Start indoors 8-10 weeks before your last spring frost. Transplant into well drained soils with high levels of organic matter, in an area that gets full sun.
Care and Harvest– Support with stakes or cages. Water frequently at the coolest part of the day. Harvest individual fruit when the paper husk drys.
