About– This extremely unique plant produces long bright green stems that bear bell-shaped sheaths surrounding small white flowers. Commonly used in fresh and dry flower arrangements as a filler or spike. heat tolerant, but does not perform well in areas with high humidity.
When and Where to Plant– Seeds benefit from cold stratification. When starting indoors, barley cover seeds and place under a strong light source.
Care and Harvest– For fresh cut flowers, cut when flowers are 1/2 open and green. For dried flowers, cut when the bells are firm to the touch.
