About– Billy Button is a drought tolerant Australian native, thriving in hot dry conditions. It is decorative, unique and easy to grow. The Billy Buttons plant forms a rosette of leaves and yellow spherical flower heads that resemble small tennis balls. This flower is disease resistant and is a nice addition to your flower bouquets!
When and Where to Plant– Seed require light to germinate, take care not to cover with more than 1/16″ of soil. Start indoors 4-6 weeks before last frost or outdoors after danger of frost has passed. Prefers sandy, well-drained soils.
Care and Harvest– Water when needed. Harvest as a cut flower when stem is sturdy and flower reaches desired appearance. Also makes a great dried flower! Hang upside down to dry.
