When and Where to Plant– Direct sow 2/3 seeds per space / hill once soil temps have reached 70ºF. Prefers rich, loose, well-drained soils.
Care and Harvest–Â Water well 1-2 times per week. Provide fertilizer based on soil test. To dry, harvest fruits after 2-3 frosts. Leaves, stems and fruit should be brown. Allow to dry for 2-4 months in a well ventilated area.
